I’m Jeanine- a freelance writer, storyteller, who navigates a sensory overloaded world by sharing one story at a time. I’m a special needs parent, mental health and autism awareness advocate. I’m a proud, hockey loving Canadian booklover. And colouring and writing helps keeps me sane. I’m happily married and my family keeps me inspired, loved; and able to share my journey in the blogging world. I’m on a never ending quest to drink a hot cup of tea, while closing the browser tabs in my ADHD brain. You can follow my journey on Facebook at Jsacks Moms House

Hello and welcome to my blog. Thank you for the follow as well. Yes my life is never boring that’s for sure. I think boredom is a luxury I can’t afford to have I’d rather be relaxing than bored. All the best to you. 😊

Me too – I don’t have time to be bored. When my kids complained of being bored, I asked them what that meant. They couldn’t tell me! I think they were worried I would find something to ‘unbore’ them!!

I do that all the time when my son tells me I’m bored. Go be bored with your laundry basket that’s needed to be put away for 2 weeks. 😉

Depending on where I post…I always have the links to the other two blogs that I have, at the bottom of the ‘current’ post so you can also find them that way.

My one son had nightmares for a bit when younger – now our younger one (they are both ‘men’ now) sleeps with one of those breathing masks.

I think (while I still get up frequently in the night) the first real good nights sleeping didn’t occur until they were both out of the house 😉

My youngest son was very close to getting those CPAP machines to help him breathe. His ENT didn’t recommend it as it would change his facial bone structure. I also found out he has asthma and with his medication his tonsils shrunk back down to normal. He no longer requires surgery to remove them or a CPAP! It was a blessed day when he slept through the night continuously at the age of 5. 😃❤

      • julespaige says:

Our youngest had to have both his tonsils and adenoids taken out – might be part of his issues now. But hes taking care of that – the mask helps him to not sound like a chain saw when snoring.

As a parent, we change as they do. Best to you. 🙂

It’s really crazy how inflammation can cause so many problems. My husband and I will be getting assessed as well for OSA. It runs on both sides of my family. I’m familiar with the chainsaw snoring here too. Wishing you the best as well happy new year Jules! 😃🎉
